Abstract

The venture capital (VC) industry is generally facing long-term structural challenges in fundraising, investment, and capital exit. Information asymmetry and the absence of a fair valuation system are core pain points that hinder market liquidity in the VC industry. This paper proposes a novel value appreciation rights investment model, termed ‘Value Appreciation Rights Investment. It is built upon blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI) technology and leverages blockchain to facilitate data confirmation, credible authentication of corporate value appreciation events, and the on-chain listing of earnings rights. Additionally, it employs AI technology to construct a valuation system, aiming to reduce subjective pricing biases. Meanwhile, this model emphasizes the long-term growth value of enterprises, aiming to alleviate the liquidity bottleneck of VC and provide new paths and references for addressing the structural exit issues in the VC industry.
